This Privacy Policy explains how Numthozhan ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you use the Thozhan Hardware Partner mobile application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

      This app is intended for registered hardware store partners and shop owners only.
      It is not a consumer-facing app open to the general public.
    

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you register and use the App:

Full Name – used to identify your partner account
Email Address – used for login and account communication
Mobile Number – used for contact and verification
Password – stored securely via Firebase Authentication (hashed, never stored in plain text)
Shop Name & Address – used to display your store details and assign orders
PIN Code – used to identify your service area
Shop Location (Latitude & Longitude) – captured once during registration to place your shop on the map
Live Location – collected in real time only when you are actively delivering an order, to enable customer tracking
Profile Photo – optional, uploaded by you and stored in Firebase Storage
Device FCM Token – used to send push notifications for new orders

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your partner account
To assign and manage hardware orders
To send real-time push notifications for new orders
To track live delivery location during active orders
To display your shop on the platform for order routing
To allow admin approval and account management
To improve app performance and fix issues

3. Location Data

The App collects two types of location data:

Registration Location (one-time): Your shop's GPS coordinates are captured once when you register, to place your store on the service map.
Live Location (during active delivery): Your real-time GPS location is tracked only when you press "Start" on an accepted order and stops when the delivery is marked complete. This is used solely for order tracking purposes.

We do not collect location data in the background when you are not actively delivering an order.

4. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore, Realtime Database, Firebase Storage)
Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication — passwords are never stored in plain text
Access to your data is restricted to authorized team members only
Data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS encryption)
We do not store any payment or financial information

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to any third party. Your data may be shared only in the following limited cases:

With Google Firebase as our backend infrastructure provider
When required by law, court order, or government authority
To protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or the public

6. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

Google Firebase – Authentication, Database, Storage, Messaging
Google Maps / Navigation – Used for delivery navigation via URL launcher

7. Your Rights & Data Deletion

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Access: You can view your profile data inside the App at any time
Update: You can edit your profile information from the Profile screen
Delete: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data by going to Dashboard → Menu → Delete Account. This will remove your Firebase Auth account and all Firestore records immediately.
Request via email: You may also contact us at thozhan11@gmail.com to request data access, correction, or deletion.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data including your Firestore partner record, notifications, and Firebase Auth credentials are permanently deleted. Order history records may be retained for up to 90 days for business audit purposes before being purged.

9. Children's Privacy

This App is intended for adults (18+) who operate hardware stores or delivery services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
